The Void Principle

Introduction

People today, especially the 15- to 40-year-old age group, have a much different view of technology and religion than when I was younger. Technology has now begun to double every four years.

The main issues today are social media and the worldly standards  which  are now  considered to be the  right  view.  That worldly view has its own standards of wealth, power, self-aware ness, kindness, and morality to name a few. There is rampant suicide, murder, robberies, drugs, child trafficking, and stress of all kinds which have infiltrated every past society on the planet.

If my generation had been involved in what I see today, would

I act any differently?  Our peers today influence our opinions and ideas into something that is not what our Creator had planned. Truth in our society is a thing of the past. The generations in the past have no idea of the power of the Creator named God.

How did all this happen?

Today, deception is at an all-time high. This has been brought on by the worldly system of “I, Me” and “I Want Control:’ There is, however,a place in us called the “Void Spot” where the Creator can fill up our desires and wants with His love and acceptance. I call this the “Void Principle:•

There are Christians  in communities  all over the world, who have accepted  the call to be “Born  Again” by accepting Jesus Christ  as the Son of God along  with  a change  of heart  which takes place in the “Void Spot:’

Is it too late for the “I, Me” generation to at least examine what the truth really is for today’s twenty- to forty-year-old who relies on worldly  standards?   Can the reader at least take a moment and read a message of hope?  Is it possible there is a truth that should at least be considered?

Life’s Consequences

No one is immune to life’s consequences.Life never takes sides. It is a battle which everyone should be aware of every day.  It’s not enough for Christians to go to church, pay the tithe, sing the songs, and listen to the message of the preacher. If that is all we need, can you or I explain the massive closings of churches today and the decline in memberships?  What about the younger “1,Me” generation that will not even attend any type of Christian service?

There are many churches that  have come  up with  the right message and the right programs, to keep the younger genera tions engaged, however, that is becoming  the exception not the rule. God’s word is not being honored, and little is known about the bible today.  Abuse in society is everywhere. Why? Because the wrong set of values and morals are based on worldly views.

Prescription drugs, alcohol, heroin, barbiturates, abortions,an ger, disease, food allergies, obesity, and cancer, continue to be on the rise in our society.

It has been shown by science that most of what is listed above can cause severe consequences  and even some Christians are not immune to some of those listed. There is an important differ ence being a “Born Again Christian” and being a member of the “1,Me” generation.

What Is The Difference?

The idea of being a Christian has been colored and rejected, however,The “Void Spot” is where every person can be filled with the Holy Spirit when they choose to make a choice to live for God! The Holy Spirit can indwell a person who has made a major de cision to change from being “of the world to being “in the world:’

The Holy Spirit’s residence in the “Void Spot”  is permanent. His essence resides in us no matter how bad or how good we are. His role is to guide, direct, and encourage.  There is a clear path to being a Christian and should be made available to every man, woman and child on the planet.

Wrong Living

Most people of the “I,Me” generation will develop a stronghold and there is no way out of the downward spiral the worldview will create.  They become greedy, selfish, self-centered, jealous, and suicidal -just to name a few. Why live like that?  This type of life style usually starts early on in life because the world system has taught us to be the “1,Me” and nobody else matters in this world. This will escalate in a person’s life because the people around us are also caught up in the same worldly system.

Eventually, their morals, attitude, consciousness and thinking, are all caught up in the wrong system.  Whether we believe it or not, what we think we are is what we become.

Once this type of living has been established in our lives, the world system becomes a “stronghold:’       We rarely even notice it because it is based on deception. The world dictates to us what to eat, what to buy, what to wear and what to think!  There are always serious consequences to this type of thinking as stated earlier.

Addictions

It is a scientific  fact that all “addictions” start out quite inno cently. They look attractive but they are destructive.  Once a per son realizes the “root” of the problem -one can change and get rid of their “I,Me” in their thinking and have a new perspective to take over in the “Void Spot:•

Patterns of addictions are well documented.  It is the same as a tree or plant when it is first planted. If you water a tree or plant correctly  with the right amount of sunshine and fertilizer, it will grow into a beautiful tree or plant. We are just like that tree or plant.  If you put in the right morals, the right thoughts, the right thinking  which comes through our eyes and ears, you will get a correct view of the world.

Introduction to the Essence of God

We must be confronted in life with this change!  We must make the right decision to be something new with the “essence “of God in us so that we don’t feel “empty” all the time.   It is up to us to choose.

Our “Void Spot” was designed to be filled with the Spirit of God so He,the Holy Spirit, can reside in us forever!  This is a promise found in the bible over and over. It is life eternal with our Creator! This was the plan from the beginning of time.

The Good News

The” Good News” is, the “Void Spot” can be filled with God’s essence and will be with us forever, even after death.                                                                                              For the Christian there is no second death.  Jesus Christ promised us to be in a place called heaven!

Once we have made the right  decision to live for Christ our Savior, and turn from the life without  Christ, we become a “Born Again” person. We will have a new direction and a different out look on Iife.

The “I,Me” worldly system is no longer in us to take us down the wrong way of doing things for ourselves. We realize by giving up the old life,we have a newfound “peace” within us that cannot be explained other than what occurs when we make the change. We turn our back on the worldly system which is  being “I, Me” and nothing more!

The bible makes this process very clear by giving us a simple plan to repent of our old life. One must decide to have a new life. Jesus Christ told us- “I am the way,the truth, and the life! No one comes to the Father (God) except through Jesus Christ, the Son of God:’

The Bible also stated,”there is no name under heaven by which a man, woman or child can be saved, except by the name of Jesus Christ:’ There is no short cut!  One must turn from their present life standards!

The Reality of the Bible

Once that  decision by faith is madewe  are redeemed from deathadopted  by God the Fathersealed by the Holy Spiritand given an eternal place in heaven.

This has taken place over a couple of thousand years by mil lions who have believed the word of the bible. Over the yearsthis has been told by thousands of authors and writers who have con firmed the facts.

This decision is the most important decision in life!  To accept or reject the Son of God who is Jesus Christ.

Some would believe a good person is all they need to be. Just live a good moral life and you will make it to heaven!  That is de ception.  The world has made an alternate plan of having people believe the afterlife is for everyone and anyone can go there.  It simply is not true.

When one looks carefully at what was written in the Bible and all those Christians who have gone before usthere  was some thing they were telling which changed their lives. Their “testimo nyof what happened to them is very compelling to the point they were even willing to give up their lives rather than deny their faith in Jesus Christ.

Our mindour will and emotions will have to be involved in this important decision which is based on accepting our Creator and Jesus Christ as the Son of God.    We must make the decision to turn from the old way of life.

Once that decision is madeit does not “overridewho we are! We have accepted a new life in our “Void Spotu which is now filled with the essence of God.

This brings us back to the term “Void Spof’ which is just anoth er way of explaining what it means to have a change in our spirit from the world system to a Godly system “In Christ:

A Real Converted Christian

Today, too many religious terms are used to entice a worldly person into excepting what a new Christian believes.

A truly converted Christian will have a new outlook on life,a dif ferent feeling inside,a major change in attitude and morals. This term has the same meaning that was conveyed several thousand years ago up until now.  We are now forever tied to heaven as a final place for us.

Once a person like you or me make a quality decision to accept or reject the Son of God – it will determine how much faith and work a person wants to invest into their life to live for Christ.  We now have the Holy Spirit residing in the “Void Spot” to dwell in us and guide us. His residence has lasting and eternal benefits.

As a new Christian we are never forced to do anything. We will stumble, fall, and sin along the way with life’s many issues, howev er,God’s spirit will never leave us or forsake us. The bible clearly states we are adopted, redeemed and sealed by God which gives us right standing for the rest of our lives.  This is a free gift and cannot be earned or bought. Jesus Christ paid for the gift.

Our mind, will, and emotions will still make decisions  based upon our conscience and the work of the Holy Spirit within us. He is always referred to as “a helper or advocate:’

It was a long time ago when I was just 17 years old when I made the decision to accept Jesus Christ and believe in Him as the Sav ior of the world and the Son of God.  I first heard of the plan of being saved for Christ. salvation from Billy Graham at a meeting. The plan is simple and direct. God loved me and accepted me just as I am.

Christianity is a life altering event.  Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life for about 33 years.

A New Agreement

Once I accepted Christ, his essence in me became a “life al

tering” experience which I have accepted over the past 55 years.

Knowing that one day I will see loved ones who have gone before me, is a comforting  thought.  As a true Christian, being a Christian is not about church membership, or going to church on Sunday, or singing in the choir.

The result of this is a personal change of heart (conversion) with the desire to read the bible and live a life in Christ with the help of the Holy Spirit.

The New Covenant is written in the New Testament of the Bible for all mankind.  It is the basis of God’s mercy and grace upon us. God’s mercy shows His choice to withhold from us what we really deserve, and His grace is His ability to give us His favor that we don’t deserve and cannot earn.

God sent Jesus Christ to earth so long ago, so we might be come part of His “Church:’ This does not refer to a building but an assembly of Christians who believe and follow Jesus Christ.  The Old Testament was the gateway for the New Testament. The Old Testament spoke about a deliverer who would come and set the Jewish people (Israelites) free from oppression and bondage to any king or country.

The details in the Old Testament refer to the Messiah of the Old Testament. He is described in the book of Zechariah,Psalms, and Isaiah and others which have been telling of a coming Savior.

Isaiah Chapter 53 gives an excellent explanation 750 years before it even occurs.  History records many writers and authors writing about the man called Jesus Christ who was the promised Messiah.

Along with the many historical writings, there are thousands of copies of manuscripts (over 20,000) of the bible which have sur vived thousands of years.

Some HistoricalFacts

Many will not believe the story in the Bible about the man called

Jesus Christ and will attempt to discredit the book.

The modern atheist and agnostic believe the Bible is some mis guided history book written  by deluded writers  and authors.              If that were true, how does one explain why there are millions of believers?  How would someone explain the historical and arche ological records and artifacts that record so much detail of events from the past?                           All these events took place a long time ago and yet they have survived for centuries. One of the most graphic ex amples is the Book of Isaiah,Chapter 53 which  gives a very ac curate description of the future, and the man called the Messiah (Jesus Christ).

It cannot be denied because the writers and authors all collab orate with the stories that were told and written about.   Many of the early Church fathers had never seen the man they were writ ing about and yet the facts still lead to the man called the Son of Man (Jesus Christ the Son of God).

The Early Years

There  are thousands  upon  thousands  of  historical  records which have survived today.  These have all been passed down through hundreds of years and by the accounts of eyewitnesses. One of the strongest accounts were the apostles who were with Jesus Christ for a short period of time.

They recorded what they saw and heard. Later, writers copied and recorded the events so there would be an accurate account of the events that took place so long ago.

Today there are five major denominations. Christianity remains as the only originaltruth of having a life of love and peace in Christ. From the beginning, the Son of Man, Jesus Christ, stated why He came and why He had to die for us. No religion or cult has made these statements.

The Beginnings of Protests

About 250 B.C.to about the 4th Century A.D.was mainly about the Romans who ruled most of the civilized  world. Their evil – anti-Christian emperors made several attempts to crush this so called religion.  Paganism with its superstitions and hundreds of idols were entrenched in the minds of the people. This became a huge stumbling block to Christianity.

The beginning of Roman Catholic bishops became an accept ed path for Catholicism.       Laterthe pope who was their supreme leaderwanted to create one religion which created an extreme abuse of power.

In the early years of the church  there was no separation of church and state.         Kings and princes in most countries  at that timewere  under the control of the pope in Rome. LaterCathol icism gained too much power and even abused their power by selling “indulgences”  so that people could buy their way out of hell and into heaven.

It wasn’t until about 325 A.D. when a major shift in Christiani ty came full circle. The emperor Constantine helped to establish Christianity as an accepted state religion of Rome.

Even in the third and fourth centurythere  were few books or manuscripts to read due to the high cost of making copies. There were a few who had a copy of the bible and read the truth of scrip ture so any man or woman could come to know the true meaning of being a born-again believer in Christ.

Out of protest, many Christians would break with the Roman Catholic Church and the Roman Catholic pope. The pope strongly opposed this. Even as early as the 13th centurythere were Chris tians in SpainItaly and the surrounding areas who had their own idea of reading the Bible and following  the teachings of Christ. This was even before the movement became known as the Prot estant Movement. By reading the scriptureone could see that by “faithwe are saved and not by works:’

God’s New Plan For Us In America

Ephesians Chapter two, verse eight stated salvation came from God,and it was a “gift” not something to be earned. This was the main thrust of Jesus Christ who taught and preached salvation to the Jews (Jesus was Jewish).

Later,Paul the Apostle taught the Gentiles the same message. God’s plan was to bring gentiles back into a right relationship with Him and the acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Once that occurs,we have a new relationship with a new outlook on life. Change must occur within us.

There were hundreds of thousands of Christians in the first and second centuries who gave up their lives due to their faith.                                                              In America,we are not called to forfeit our lives due to the many who went before us.  We worship in freedom.                               Our purpose is simply this: We have been changed with a new nature and our belief sys tem is based on Christianity. With that change, our life has a feel ing of the love of God in us which cannot be explained any other way. That is what the “Void Spot” will be filled with!

If we truly  want to live as a new Christian, God will have a plan for us, and it will  be a perfect plan  of peace within us. God’s mercy and grace will be on us.

Sometimes, we will have a clear understanding  of what our plan in life is and sometimes it will not be clear. This is where faith becomes important.   The bible states over and over, the “good pleasure and will of God” is the ultimate plan for us.

There have been times when faith and trust in God, who we cannot see or hear, we can sense His Spirit inside our own heart where the “Void Spot” has been filled with His essence.

This experience,if it is truly genuine, will remain with us for ever. There is no jumping in and out of a “salvation experience:• It is real and it is permanent.

Testing Our Faith

On occasion, God’s purpose is not clearly explained, however, the Christian learns to accept it. If we had all the answers all the time,we wouldn’t need Jesus Christ as our Savior and the “Void Spot” would  just be filled with worldly thinking and desires.

Faith requires belief and action on our part.  Too many Chris tians have become “religious” thinkers.  The real Christian has a faith walk with Christ and a personal relationship with God.

It revolves around the word found in the bible, talking to God, listening to the Holy Spirit  within us, and have the fruit  of the Spirit. It sounds simple and it is. The realtest is when we put this to the test.  Anyone who is a Christian, would tell you over time, one becomes “tuned” into the spiritual side of our being and have learned to “block out” the worldly side.

Being a Christian does not mean we are going to be immune to life- shattering events in our life and for those around us. We do not have a “get out of being hurt card” with some kind of immuni ty. There is suffering from disease, family issues, divorce, loss of loved ones, drinking too much, eating too much, suicidal thoughts, greed, anger, jealousy, and un-forgiveness -just to name a few. Our faith will be tested over and over!

It cannot be explained why a Christian lost a parent, lost a child to disease or an accident,or a husband or a wife losing a compan ion,or a single person that is faced with a life-threatening disease, or accident. The list is endless! However, this is what you or I are promised- we as a Christian, will never be alone! We have a lov ing Father – God who will be with us for eternity.  Now the issue of faith will be tested!  When we leave this earth as a Christian, heaven is where we will reside forever until Jesus Christ returns to earth as stated in the Book of Revelation. By the way we come back with Him!  The Book of James in the first chapter explains that concern.

Decisions and More Decisions

Too many evangelists and  writers  of the “Faith  Movement” have sold the idea we are never to face a trial or go through a life crisis because “we” didn’t have enough “faith:’  That may be true in some cases but certainly not in all of them.  God is the final de cision maker of events that have His will and good pleasure.

My conclusion is this – we as Christians are here on a tem porary assignment for God. What we do when in a crisis is what counts!   Is there someone around us that needs to see how we react? Are we going to be a “testimony” to someone who is going through something similar?

We are confident in this- the earth is not our permanent home. We must look beyond that view. We can remain a strong Christian in any circumstance!   Do we believe that?  We should.  Once we leave this planet, we will meet up with our loved ones in a place called heaven.  Heaven is real.  Thousands of stories have been documented by those who died temporarily and came back to life.

Acceptance and belief are important  to understand  we have a human body with a spirit inside us (sometimes referred to as a soul).   Even Jesus Christ made this promise of heaven as a final place for us!

There are many stories over the years where Christians have doubted if God is even real. The question of “why” comes up all the time when the pressure is applied to our life in a crisis.  Our response to these life-threatening situations or a crisis is “What do I do?”  Is it asking God for direction?  Is it asking for a deeper understanding?  Is it prayer for someone else besides my own is sue? Do I find another person who I can trust for help?

We are fragile human beings with a mind, will and emotions, however, let us not forget we are spiritual beings designed to be with our Designer – A holy God!  Whether we believe it or not, there was an intelligent designer who created an intelligent de sign which is you and me.

Decide To Decide – Truth or False

Science has finally confirmed we could not have been created by accident.    Creation has been studied by the best and most gifted scientists of our time. They concluded that due to the com plexity of creation, there had to be an intelligent designer.

My conclusion is when we go through the bad and the good, this is where the Holy Spirit has been helpful as an advocate for us. He was given to the original12 apostles from the very begin ning and that same spirit indwells in us in our “Void Spot:’  This will become a lasting impression on us all through life as we learn about what it means to be a Christian and not just a title.

I decided very early in life to become a Christian. True salva tion from God creates a “heart change” within us and can only be explained when you or I go through that change.  The Old Testa ment covenant was based on the sacrifice of animals.  The New Testament covenant is based on the blood sacrifice on the cross of a man called Jesus Christ. His blood was the price paid for us.

It must be emphasized again- beware of anyone who tells you their salvation is based on “doing this and that:’  A gift from God is a gift which cannot be bought or earned.  When we come to being a Christian,we have the desire to produce Christlike actions and thoughts.  How great that life can be!  By knowing there is a Creator- called God,who left us with the Holy Spirit to guide us and direct us.

A change in our attitude and morals will be the outcome!  The love of God is the motivating force within us. We are still the same person, only changed.

The “I, Me” generation has decided that their view is correct with all their knowledge and doing what they want. It only bene fits them. They only see the “world view” with all the technology with no concern for God,the Creator of the universe and the world we live in. The world view is to forget about God,prayer, and the bible.  They consider that to be nonsense.

Tools For The Christian Today

The generation of today is vastly worldy and will be and has become the “I,Me” generation!

Once a person turns from that generational thinking, they can discern what is real for a believer and what is fake! With the help of the Holy Spirit, one simply must ask for free thinking  and wis dom.  We can take comfort  knowing  we have a helper, and an advocate, who will be with us for all eternity.  The true Christian has a holy bible that will explain all life’s questions and concerns, however, we must read what the word of God and dwell on the answers.

Our goal is to get a richer understanding so that our walk as a Christian will become stronger. Christianity is not designed to be easy. It is a walk that requires “action” on our part.  This is cou pled with faith and trust in our continued walk In Christ.

Thank God, our relationship with Christ is forever!   It is not a temporary change but a life altering change. Christianity is a bet ter way of thinking who we are.

It is going to be difficult for that twenty, or thirty, or forty-year old who has been in the world with worldly thoughts  and ideas, however, as a Christian, the benefits  are almost  impossible  to comprehend.  We have a promise of living on after death!  We are going to a place prepared for us and one day,we will come back with Christ. There will be a new heaven and a new earth!

When a Christian comes into a situation of crisis, the first nor mal thought is “God doesn’t love me or why is this happening to me?” We must stretch our faith to a point  where we have con fidence and trust  in a holy God who will bring  us through any situation. It is never too late to become a born-again Christian in Christ! On occasion God makes the situation in our life an adven ture or a turning point to think in line with the principles found in the holy Bible. Does our faith and trust rise to the next level?

How Do We Respond?

Does the Christian today believe they can overcome what is happening no matter how difficult?  Christians are not immune to bad things occurring;however,we have a helper. The Holy Spirit resides in our “Void Spot:’

In the story in the bible,Job lost everything. He did not curse or blame God and He remained faithful. Even when we lose a child, a parent, a wife, or a husband, we have the assurance His Holy Spirit will abide in us and help us as we go through a crisis. The key is -do you or Irespond in like manner?

Next comes the personal issues which all Christians will face. Bulimia, anxiety, anger, jealousy, suicide, prescription  drugs, un-forgiveness, overweight issues, cancer, diseases, and addic tions (too numerous to list), and divorce which can affect any Christian. We are not immune to life in this world and its faults.

As a believer, I can ask, petition, and believe for a good out come to any situation whether it is mine personally, or someone close to me. We are not limited. We are here for a purpose! That purpose is tied to what God’s good will and good pleasure is. Even if we have made it in this world with all the money and finan cial stability we could ever want or spend,God is still overseeing every situation in our life.   It is never just our own efforts.                                             How much more we would be as a mature Christian if we depended on the Holy Spirit.

It must be said again – God’s will and good pleasure are the driving forces in our lives as a Christian. That was His purpose for us in the very beginning of time even before we were born. His mercy and grace are given to us as He makes many final out comes to our situations. Our mind, will, and emotions are not on the same level as God. His thoughts are not our thoughts. Even though  millions of people die from floods, disease, accidents, armed conflicts, suicide, and wars,God is still in control of every thing around us.

There Is Only One Way!

God has already predicted the end of the world as we know it.  Simply read the Book of Revelation and especially Chapter 21 through 22.  Christians return to a new earth!

We as a believer will ask God for answers in all situations.  We can petition God because He tells us to do exactly that!  We can ask for wisdom in any situation and let the Holy Spirit talk to us. Never get caught up in the thinking  we are immune to bad situ ations.  There will be numerous false teachers and pastors who subscribe to a false doctrine.  The truth of the Bible has been al tered many times by many powerful men and women. Sometimes this is very difficult to accept.

Miracles

Christians today believe in miracles and situations that cannot be explained by medical science.   Very few Christians will take this view and yet it is a fact that miracles still operate and happen today. We should not give up on this concept.

Christians should also believe they have a gift. Every Christian on the planet has a gift.  There are gifts listed in several places in the bible. II Corinthians and the Book of Romans both have a list.

The Book of James is a book about how to live as a Christian. The bible also warns of the “money trap:’ Men and women be

come caught  up in acquiring  wealth and leave the bible alone.

They don’t have time for God or to read His word.  How sad that will become!   We are surrounded by the worldly  system and its wealth which we want more than His word. Beware of getting too caught up with wealth and the pleasures of his world.  It is full of deception.

We are here for one purpose and the world system wants us to believe in the “1, Me” way. However, the truth is there is only one way.

Conclusion?????? The Void Principle

A  major  thought-provoking exploration  of  modern  society’s self-centered culture, the “I, Me:’ Generation. This book challeng es readers to reflect on their place within the worldly system. This book shows individuals how to make a powerful decision that will alter their lives forever. Does the “Void Spot” actually exist?

The everyday person or those who have gained a degree of success from professions, from investments, and from good hard work – are urged to embrace Christianity and break free and live life authentically.

Through compelling insights and real-world thinking,it encour ages a deeper understanding  of identity, choice, and the conse quences of living in an ever-increasingly individualist  world.

Is it possible to believe we are not just made up of the mind, will, and emotions!  Our human race was created by a Designer and a Creator called God! Our bodies were created in His image.

The option presented here is quite simple.   We have a dead spirit in us that can only be made alive by our Creator the Most High God. This was His plan from the beginning.   For the dead spot to come alive, one must accept what is written.   The “Void Spot” becomes the essence of the living God. We become alive In Christ and become a changed new person.

Every non-Christian who reads the “The Void Principle” will see the life-changing scriptures at the end of the book that I have stated. There is no shortcut to salvation In Christ  His name (Jesus Christ) is the only name by which anyone can be saved.  Jesus is the way, the truth and the life to salvation.  Jesus stated to Nicodemus he would have to be born again in the spirit to receive salvation. I would encourage anyone to become a Christian and accept a new life!
